The benefit fundraiser for Sarah Rowland of Hairston Creek Farm is tonight, starting at 6:30 pm at Barr Mansion (http://www.barrmansion.com/). Austin’s finest chefs will be serving tastings made with locally sourced products from Austin’s farmers’ markets and farms. It will also feature a silent auction showcasing products and services from Austin food and craft artisans and other businesses.
Thank you Joy Peppers, Zhi Teas, Texas Medicinals, Innocent Chocolate, Bark for Peace!, SASS ~ Season ALL Stuff Sauce, Agasweet, Luxe Sweets, Spiceburst, Living Arts, and Eastside Cafe for donating to the silent auction. At the May 1st meeting, Mary Louise mentioned that she had a friend named David McDougal who is a baker looking for some extra hours. If you are in need of help, give her a call.
